Details of the Initiative

At the Kakizaki seminar in the School of Law, each year, five groups will write a detailed research paper titled “Approaches from business laws to support a sustainable corporate society,” based on laws and regulations governing companies, such as the stock corporation law, the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, the double Codes, and the Whistleblower Protection Act. This initiative is in its fifth year, and every year ongoing issues are taken up by the subsequent year’s seminar students. The finished paper is entered for the Ishii Memorial Foundation Scholarship Grant and is highly praised each year.
